on the morning of june 6, the 2nd china-brazil financial dialogue on cooperation and innovation was successfully held, co-hosted by tsinghua university latin america center, brazil’s leading international relations think tank cebri and the brazil-china business council (cebc). it was also co-organized by china international capital corporation (cicc) and center for china-latin america management studies, sem, tsinghua university.
nearly 30 representatives from cicc, china-lac cooperation fund, cips, goldwind, bocom bbm, vale, banco do brasil, bradesco, and the asian infrastructure investment bank participated in the dialogue.
during the meeting, all participating experts shared and discussed the current situation of china-brazil economic development, using local currency in trade and investment, and brazilian new industrial policies in a lively atmosphere. the purpose of this private meeting is to promote in-depth communication between chinese and brazilian financial institutions, as well as international financial institutions, so as to reach possible pragmatic cooperation.
the meeting was co-chaired by professor taotao chen, director of tsinghua university latin america centre; mr. marcos caramuru, former brazilian ambassador to china, member of cebri’s international advisory board; and claudia trevisan, executive director of the brazil-china business council (cebc).
