background/significance
poverty alleviation is a universal challenge for developing countries and a common challenge for the whole world. over the years, countries all over the world have been trying to reduce poverty for many years and have accumulated experience. due to the differences in natural conditions, economic development levels, history, culture and institutions among countries (cage ), their ideas and approaches to poverty alleviation, as well as related technologies and models, may differ. from the perspective of civilization mutual learning, the china-latin america 2024 youth challenge to alleviate poverty has the following practical significance:
➢ young people represent the future of the country, and it is hoped that they will actively participate in poverty alleviation challenge, use their own thinking and abilities to address global challenges and develop global competencies, so that they will be able to actively take on real-world problems and challenges in the future.
➢ through the poverty alleviation challenge, youth are helped to understand what ‘poverty’ is and what poverty looks like around them, and to gain a deeper understanding of poverty in the real world so that they can think deeply about solutions.
➢ it is hoped that the young people participating in the poverty alleviation challenge will, based on their own discipline perspectives, put forward the operational logic of poverty alleviation, explore the conditions for its realization, and ultimately form solutions in various fields of specialization, so that they can learn from each other among chinese and latin american universities, and encourage the introduction of solutions for investment and implementation in the real world.
introduction
the china-latin america 2024 youth challenge to alleviate poverty is dedicated to the development of students’ global competence, leadership, creativity and teamwork. under the theme of ‘poverty alleviation’, the 2024 youth challenge will allow students to freely choose different directions according to their interests, and will encourage the formation of interdisciplinary innovation teams to explore global best practices and the dissemination and application of corresponding programs, or to develop innovative solutions in related fields.

ø individual or team registration is acceptable (if registering as a team, 3-5 people are preferred, inter-disciplinary teams are encouraged; if alumni register individually, he/she needs to form a team with students)
